Alex graduated from La'James International College in Cedar Falls, IA in March 2013. Determined to use her new skills to help others, she went on to pursue training in Trigger Point Therapy, Infant Massage instruction, reiki, energy medicine, nutrition, spiritual coaching and life coaching. It takes more than just determination to get through the throes of life, a lesson she learned early on. After developing a meditation practice and working to retrain her own mind, Alex discovered the abundant joy the came with reconnecting with her soul to discover her life's purpose. Excited to share this world-shaking revelation with others, she pursued certification in spiritual coaching to gain the skills and background to do just that. Alex is also currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Psychology at Buena Vista University, with the hopes of continuing her education to receive a Master's Degree in Counseling after. A strong believer that it takes more than just one aspect of our lives to heal us, she hopes to one day develop a more touch-based counseling method to help those who have had traumatic experiences centering around unwelcome touch learn to work through their struggles.
